West Cork Recruitment are delighted to be hiring a Maintenance Technician/Engineer on behalf of a leading food production company in Bantry, Co. Cork.
Duties Include:
• Assist with development and implementation of the preventative maintenance routine and manufacturing processes
• Identify and implement continuous improvements in conjunction with the maintenance team
• Apply good manufacturing policy (GMP) and take a proactive approach to ensuring all tasks are completed
• Assist in the safe and efficient operation of maintenance systems
• Maintenance of controls, sensors, pneumatics and electrics in a fast -paced production facility
• Must be able to recognise, diagnose and solve common engineering problems related to production machinery
• Participate in a team to help make the necessary improvements or repairs to process related issues in the production facilities.
Requirements:
• Experience maintaining Manufacturing Systems/Equipment in a processing plant.
• Knowledge/Qualification and understanding of Electrical and Mechanical Automation
• Have a good level of Computer and Report Writing Skills.
• Good time management skills are essential.
