West Cork Recruitment are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-oriented Waiter/Bar Person to join a new fine dining restaurant opening in Clonakilty. This role involves providing excellent service to customers, taking orders, preparing drinks, and ensuring a positive dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, multitask effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
o Greet and welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner.
o Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction.
o Communicate with kitchen and bar staff to deliver accurate and timely orders.
o Assist customers with menu choices, drink pairings, and food recommendations.
o Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and efficiently.
Waiter Duties:
o Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner.
o Ensure that tables are clean, set up correctly, and well-maintained.
o Monitor guest needs throughout their visit and respond promptly.
o Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payment transactions.
Bar Duties:
o Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
o Ensure the bar area is clean, stocked, and organised.
o Maintain knowledge of the drink menu and suggest cocktails or specials to customers.
Key Requirements:
o Candidates must be available to start on the 28th of January.
